Only a thirty-minute ride from the town center, is the Basiao Beach, a long stretch of white sand in the coastal barangay of Basiao, Ivisan, Capiz, and the nearest jump-off point to the four nearby islands namely Marukol Dako, Marukol Gamay, Mahabang Pulo and Mabaay Island.
Lined-up along the highway are beach resorts offering cottages, bathing areas and rooms for tourists coming from the nearby municipalities and provinces.
